Donating Clothes Changes Lives in Our Community
Have you ever wondered what happens to the clothes sitting in your closet that no longer fit, aren’t your style, or simply aren’t being used?
At Christian Helping Hands, those clothes can become a blessing to someone in need.
Our Clothes Closet is stocked entirely through donations from generous individuals, families, churches, businesses, and organizations throughout our community. Every shirt, pair of shoes, coat, and household item on our shelves was donated by someone who wanted to help a neighbor.
Your Donations Stay Local
When you donate clothing to Christian Helping Hands, you’re helping people right here in our community.
Families and individuals who are struggling can visit our Clothes Closet and shop for clothing at no cost. We provide specific amounts of clothing based on household size, and families can access the Clothes Closet once each month. We also offer a limited selection of household items when available.
For many people, a trip to the Clothes Closet is about much more than clothing.
We often assist:
- Individuals preparing for a new job and needing appropriate work attire
- Grandparents who have unexpectedly become caregivers for their grandchildren
- Families recovering from emergencies such as fires, tornadoes, or other disasters
- Individuals needing clothing for court appearances or important appointments
- Parents working hard to provide for their children despite financial challenges
A simple donation can help restore confidence, dignity, and hope during a difficult season.
Meeting Seasonal Needs
As the seasons change, so do the needs of local families.
As the new school year approaches, many parents are searching for affordable school clothes for growing children. During the colder months, families often need coats, gloves, hats, and warm clothing to stay safe and comfortable.
By donating gently used seasonal clothing, you help ensure that children arrive at school ready to learn and families stay warm during Oklahoma’s winter weather.

Easy Ways to Donate
Donating is simple.
You can bring donations directly to Christian Helping Hands Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, and we gladly accept walk-in donations.
For added convenience, we also have a large red donation box located outside our facility. Simply place your clean, bagged clothing and household item donations in the box anytime.
What We Need Most
We welcome donations of:
- Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing
- Shoes and boots
- Coats, jackets, gloves, and hats
- School clothing for children and teens
- Belts and accessories
- Small household items
- New socks and underwear
All donated items should be clean and in good condition.
Be Part of Someone’s Story
A donated shirt may help someone start a new job. A winter coat may keep a child warm. A few bags of clothing may help a family begin rebuilding after a disaster.
Every donation matters.
When you clean out your closets, consider donating your gently used clothing to Christian Helping Hands. Together, we can ensure that our neighbors have the resources they need and are reminded that they are cared for by their community.
