The Christian Helping Hands Food Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families within the Comanche Public School District.

We understand that seasons of need can happen to anyone. Our goal is to make sure families have access to nutritious food while also connecting them to additional support when needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

The first time you come to the food pantry, you will need to register with us. Please bring your photo ID and proof of residence. We provide food to those living within the Comanche school district.

Each household may shop once per month at the food pantry.

Yes! The food pantry is set up similar to a grocery store. You choose and bag your own produce, then a pantry volunteer will walk with you through the store and box up your food as you choose what you would like from the food available. Quantity guidelines are in place to ensure all of our neighbors are able to shop.

Individuals who are homebound or temporarily disabled due to a medical issue may be eligible to receive a food box delivered to their home. We ask that this is only used when truly needed.

The time varies based on the number of people waiting and the number of volunteers we have available. If you do not have time to wait, you can ask for a prepared food box that has already been packed.
