Donate Food, Change Lives

When a family is struggling, something as simple as a bag of groceries can provide relief, dignity, and hope.

At Christian Helping Hands, our food pantry serves individuals and families throughout our community who are facing difficult circumstances. Every can of food, every box of cereal, and every donation helps ensure that no one has to face hunger alone.

The Foods We Need Most

While we are grateful for all non-perishable food donations, some items are especially needed because they provide protein and help families prepare complete meals.

Our most-needed items include:

  • Canned chicken
  • Canned tuna
  • Canned beef and other canned meats
  • Canned soups and stews
  • Breakfast items such as cereal and oatmeal

Protein-rich foods, especially canned meats, are often the first items to run low and the most difficult for families to afford.

Easy Ways to Donate

Donating is simple. Food donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at Christian Helping Hands.

Have a larger donation? In some cases, we may be able to arrange pickup for churches, businesses, organizations, or individuals with substantial donations. Contact us at 580-439-6705 to discuss your donation and see if pickup is available. We will provide a receipt for your donation.

Host a Food Drive

One of the most impactful ways to help is by organizing a food drive.

We would love to partner with:

  • Churches
  • Sunday school classes
  • Businesses and workplaces
  • Civic clubs
  • Youth groups
  • Schools
  • Sports teams

Food drives are a great way to bring people together around a common purpose while directly helping local families. We can even provide guidance on the items that are most needed and help promote your collection effort.

Whether your group collects 50 items or 5,000, every donation makes a difference.

More Than Food

A food donation does more than fill a pantry shelf. It helps parents provide meals for their children. It helps seniors stretch limited incomes. It helps families weather temporary hardships while they work toward stability.

At Christian Helping Hands, we believe that practical assistance opens the door to hope. Your generosity allows us to serve our neighbors with compassion and remind them that they are not alone.
